Best time to visit
June–October and December–February are the driest months and best for game viewing. The green season (March–May) brings lush scenery, newborn wildlife and fewer crowds.
Visa & entry
Most nationalities can arrange a Tanzania e-visa online before travel or on arrival. We share the current requirements and paperwork once your dates are confirmed.
What to pack
Light, neutral-toned layers, a warm layer for early morning drives, sun protection and a good pair of binoculars. We send a full packing list with every confirmed itinerary.
Currency & tipping
US dollars and Tanzanian shillings are both widely accepted at lodges and camps. Guides and drivers appreciate gratuities; we share suggested amounts before you travel.
